Algo prestado... algo azul (Metro, Reino Unido)

El hombre tras estas imágenes es más Bic-asso que Picasso pero no se ha detenido hasta convertirse en el gran propietario de la escena artistica internacional.

Spanish artist Juan Francisco Casas uses a humble Biro to craft his drawings, which now fetch as much as £3,750. Juan said: 'I guess it started off as a joke, to try and make something so realistic that people would think it was a photo. 'I also wanted to create it with something that everyone has – a Biro.' The 31-year-old former art student's life changed when he submitted one of his drawings to a national art competition in 2004 – and won second prize. He said: 'It was an academic competition and I knew they would think my entry was a joke. It was a real shock it was so successful.' His drawings have since gone on show in Chicago and Spain, and Mr Casas's next exhibition will be in Rome. He gets through about four Biros to create each 2m (6ft) creation – and he always uses blue. 'I would love to come to England, but I haven't got a lot [to show] at the moment as I've sold everything,' he added.
